B8. BACTERIA

It appears that no matter where we look in nature we can find examples of fractal branching. Through the microscope we see this bacterium as grown in a petri dish with its flailing arms (flagella) breaking into smaller flailing arms breaking into ... , and all in such a way that the smaller arms could pass as smaller replicas of the large arms.
