Introduction
Welcome to this Family History of Paul Raymond Scott, originally of Auckland, New Zealand, and Margaret Jean Foreman of Adelaide, Australia.
The title ‘The Power of 2’ has a double meaning:
• a reference to the fact known by all genealogists that the number of direct ancestors doubles with each generation;
• an allusion to my University career in Mathematics.
