The Sacred Garden of the Glen Osmond Monastery is a beautiful secluded area ideal for meditation. Entry is off the southern side of Cross Road, close to where the Southern Freeway meets the Plains. It is well signposted and there is ample car parking. Entry to the Garden is by donation.
At the northern end of the Monastery is an attractive church with spectacular stained glass windows. Central to the Garden are fourteen beautiful Carrara marble sculptures picturing the Passion of Christ. These were brought to the Garden in 2001, and the grounds have been cultivated and landscaped to create a delightful environment for their display. The fourteen stations of the Cross are of parrticular interest to Roman Catholics, but the beauty of this Garden and its sculptures transcends denominations, making this a rewarding destination for all seekers after spiritual truth.
