This is the official plan and guide to St John’s Cathedral. We shall not follow this numbering on this website, but the plan is helpful for locating various items. The Cathedral is cruciform in shape, although the sanctuary is smaller than would be expected for a true Cross. We shall use liturgical directions on this site, with the sanctuary in the East (capital E). The twin towers are then at the West end.

St John’s Cathedral is a heritage-listed, Anglican cathedral in Parramatta, Sydney, New South Wales. St John’s was given the status of provisional cathedral of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney in 1969, and designated a Regional Cathedral in 2011 for the Western Region. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 5 March 2010. The current rector is Reverend Canon Bruce Morrison.
