A view from 1900. The Cathedral appears much the same, but the surroundings are changing. [Photo Credit: Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences 85/1284-552]
A 1900 interior view of the Choir. What large numbers on the hymn board! Looking at these old scenes makes us marvel at the introduction of colour and the great improvements in the technology of photography.
The Cathedral has been an impressive addition to the city right from the very beginning. [Powerhouse Museum photo] This concludes our tour of St Andrews.
St Andrew’s Anglican Cathedral is a very old church with a great deal of history. I have been helped by the informative booklets and pamphlets put out by the Cathedral, and also the Wikipedia website. The text on this website is largely drawn from these.

I am grateful to my wife Margie who visited this Cathedral with me, and who has already found a number of typos.
