40. ST JOAN OF ARC CHURCH |
||
St Joan of Arc’s Church was opened in 1921. Accommodation was far in excess of the immediate needs, but the church had been built with an eye to the future. It was situated on the slope of a rising hill, and was surmounted by a tower. Today the grounds to the north have a pleasant cloister as a backdrop.
An extensive history of the church can be found at http://victorgoolwahistory.weebly.com/ |
