The little old Casualty Hospital stands in Nile Street, and is now the home of Anglican Services. Dating from 1884 the Hospital has a varied history. Above the door is a sign indicating its function as a place for sobering up. There is also a small brass plaque reminding the reader of the building’s past significance to Port Adelaide’s medical heritage.
