This bond store belonged to Gilbert Wood, Son and Co. Ltd, and was constructed around 1876. Gilbert Wood commenced a grocery business in 1854, and the store was used to give access to the Port facilities, and free movement of both incoming and outgoing goods. The internal structure can still be seen today.
