Where the National Bank now stands there used to be an early store operated by William Beaver. From 1870 until the early 20th century, the Salvation Army occupied the site. The present building was erected in the 1920s, and made out of red brick. It was rendered in the mid 1900s. The single storey extension was added in 1990. Photo Credit: Google Maps |
