35. MOYNE FLOUR MILL |
||
This bluestone flour mill, commenced in 1859 by Dr Alexander Russell, was later used for meetings and later again as a skating rink. Originally of four storeys, the two upper floors were bought and demolished by Dr J. P. Jones, and the stone presented to St John’s Church for the erection of the tower. The building is now used for apartments. The building carries a plaque with minimal information. |
