This building was erected ca 1857, and was originally a boys’ boarding school, conducted by Dr Braim. Dr Braim was originally of Cambridge, and had been headmaster of sydney College. The building continued as a school for many years, although Dr Braim relinquished control after his ordination as the first vicar of the church of England in Port Fairy. |
