Expecting to find a single cottage on this site, I was a little confused to find two! The cottage nearest to the road is now called Arrondoon. It is an appealing cottage constructed of square limestone blocks with bluestone corners.
At the rear is a very old buildingvery old building, now designated Cherry Plum Cottage. This consists of a single room with an enormous fireplace and ‘cupboard’ sleeping quarters. |
